The band saw carriage is a staple piece of equipment in timber processing plants, designed to clamp and feed logs into the saw; CNC controls position the log precisely to achieve the desired board thickness. This fully automated model is an upgraded version of the classic design: it replaces the rear-mounted welded operator seat with a separate, enclosed cabin, thereby enhancing operator comfort, safety, and efficiency.
Utilizing advanced optical sensing technology—including a new ranging carriage and camera system—this equipment enables complete separation of the operator from the sawing process, making operation simpler and safer. Furthermore, the integration of photoelectric switches, proximity sensors, and cable encoders significantly improves sawing accuracy and overall timber production efficiency.
